Last week, 46 water companies from 7 countries, including a delegation of 10 Swiss companies organized by Switzerland Global Enterprise, participated in a fact-finding mission to the The World Bank, International Finance Corporation, Inter-American Development Bank and other finance institutions in Washington DC, gaining valuable insights into their water sector strategies, portfolios, and pipeline of upcoming projects.
Our CEO, Amanda Loeffen was present in this event. She expressed how it was “an excellent way to liaise with all these organisations, and to understand more about development finance in water infrastructure.”
Three Swiss companies were able to present their solutions:
- in engineering: Lombardi Engineering Switzerland
- In digitalization: Endress+Hauser Group
- In desalination: Katadyn Group
Human Right 2 Water, Word Assiociation of PPP Units and Professionals (WAPPP), the Pini Group, Helvetas, among others were also able to demonstrate the crucial role that Swiss water solutions are playing in addressing global water challenges with innovation, reliability, and sustainable impact.
