Menstrual Health in Policy and Development at World Water Week
We co-hosted an official Side Event at World Water Week taking place on Wednesday 26th August at 9 am CET. This session examined how menstrual health can be more systematically integrated into WASH policy, national sanitation strategies, and gender-responsive investment frameworks. It highlighted the economic, public health, and social benefits of addressing menstrual health, including improved school attendance, workforce participation, and more effective and inclusive sanitation services.
Side Event at Stockholm: Adapting Nature to Protect Our Heritage
At World Water Week, HR2W joined IUCN, IHE Delft, University of Technology Sydney, and SD-WISHEES in a session moderated by Maria Lindelien. Speakers Alejandro Iza, Amanda Loeffen, Bradley Moggridge, and Eddy Moors explored hydroclimatic impacts on cultural heritage and nature-based innovations for protection.
